Meet Your Therapist

I'm really glad you're here! I’m Sofia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) based in New Jersey. I earned my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through some of their most challenging and vulnerable moments.

Choosing to begin therapy is a deeply personal decision, and I believe you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted for who you are. My approach is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and compassion, with the belief that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship. I specialize in supporting teens and adults navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, difficult relationships with food or exercise, anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I believe you are more than your symptoms or struggles. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, reconnect with your values, and build a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and authentic.

My passion for this work comes from witnessing the courage it takes to heal. I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate their unique journeys. I approach therapy with curiosity, empathy, and a non-judgmental perspective, creating a space where you can show up as your full self.

Prior to creating Soul Full Therapy, I served as Program Director within an eating disorder PHP/IOP, where I gained extensive experience supporting clients across all stages of recovery and levels of care. My clinical experience includes individual therapy, group therapy, family sessions, comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and crisis management. This work has deepened my understanding of the complexity of eating disorders and the importance of providing care that is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized.

Whether you are struggling with your relationship with food, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, healing from past experiences, or navigating a major life transition, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel supported, empowered, and more connected to yourself.
