General
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, your history, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. It is also a chance for you to decide if I feel like the right fit to support you on your journey.
I provide secure telehealth therapy throughout New Jersey, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
I believe therapy should feel accessible and attainable. I am in-network with Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey. If I am not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be able to receive reimbursement through your out-of-network mental health benefits. I can provide a superbill to support you with this process.I also offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments to help make therapy more accessible for those who need additional financial support. Feel free to reach out to learn more.
Most therapy sessions are 50-60 minutes. I also offer 30-minute and 45-minute sessions depending on your unique needs, goals, and circumstances. The length and structure of sessions will be individualized to ensure you are receiving the level of support that best fits where you are in your healing journey.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to establish consistency and build momentum. Session frequency is individualized based on your needs, goals, and progress.During periods of increased stress or crisis, sessions may increase to twice weekly when appropriate. As you make progress, we may transition to biweekly sessions or adjust frequency over time. Together, we will determine the level of support that best fits your unique journey.
Meal support is an additional layer of support for individuals in eating disorder recovery who may benefit from guidance and encouragement around meals. Recovery can bring up fear, anxiety, guilt, or uncertainty around eating, and having support during this process can help make meals feel more manageable.Meal support provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space to practice recovery skills, navigate difficult emotions, challenge eating disorder thoughts, and build trust and confidence in your ability to nourish your body.
The first step is scheduling a free consultation call. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what you’re looking for, answer any questions, and determine whether we’re a good fit.
